Headteacher's Welcome

As Headteacher, I am delighted to be able to introduce you to Wyvern St Edmund’s Academy. 

Naturally, the education of your child is very important and, like you, we want them to fulfil their potential and be prepared for life after school, whilst enjoying a wide range of exciting opportunities. 

Wyvern St Edmund’s is a popular, high performing secondary school.  We benefit from extensive beautiful grounds overlooking the Laverstock Downs to the east with views of Salisbury Cathedral to the southwest. 

Our team of outstanding staff aim to inspire, challenge and nurture our students to achieve academic excellence, develop their talents and give them the confidence to grow as individuals with the skills and attitudes to be successful. We work as a community to fulfil our vision - for our students to be the best version of themselves.  

We believe that the three-way partnership of student, school and parents is vital to enable all our young people to thrive.  Their success needs your support and our school is committed to working with you to provide that.
