The Student Voice App

The Student Voice App

At Wyvern St Edmund's we want every student to feel safe and be able to flourish. We value our students views and opinions on how we can continually to improve our school for the benefit of all.

This is why we have The Student Voice App. This is a reporting tool that students can access on their phones and devices and we use it to help us reflect on how we know our community is safe and what safeguarding issues our students maybe facing.

Important note: The Student Voice can be used for both positive feedback on what works well, and improvements or concerns, as it is important to report both.

Every contribution a student makes is helpful to them, their peers and the school community.

The app has an interactive map of our school and the surrounding areas, including the bus routes to school. Students can give anonymous feedback on individual locations across the school site and the surrounding areas including their bus journey. The app also includes a wellbeing home life area that was created during the pandemic. Here students can report on factors at home that effect their mental wellbeing such as sleep.

Another area allows students to suggest improvements to the student council which will improve student life.

Finally there is an area where students can seek valuable support and guidance about specific issues that maybe causing them concern or worry. This will be sent to the safeguarding team to respond appropriately. All reports will be responded to.

Students: Even if it seems like a small thing or you’re unsure, it’s really important to report any worries you are concerned about. Your information could help your school help you or another person.

Please note the App is monitored during school hours only and is not an emergency service.
